VOW offers three types of retreats for married couples. From fun, playful check-up weekends learning 8 habits of successful marriages, to more intensive restorative programs, which use Life Innovation’s Enrich Couple Assessment and facilitated feedback format, there is a retreat format for everyone. Finally, VOW Family Champions offers couples in ministry who are in need of a focused “get away,” a priceless opportunity to take a short reprieve from the ministry to perform much needed maintenance on their own marriage!

Couples in Ministry Time-Out Weekend: VOW Family Champions’ Couples in Ministry Time-Out Weekend offers pastors and their spouses a unique experience wherein they are ministered to, and where they can take time to re-connect with their soul mate. Some studies suggest that as many as 40% of pastors fall prey to physical and/or emotional affairs. In addition, up to 37% of pastors report that pornography is a current struggle. Often, people who are dedicated to the service of others are so focused on those they serve that they unknowingly let their own needs and their personal relationships suffer.
The mantle of stewardship can be a heavy burden to bear; don’t let your own marriage suffer as you work to lift others. This retreat brings pastor couples together in a safe, confidential environment with others who understand and appreciate the special challenges pastors and their families are faced with. Enroll in a Couples in Ministry Time-Out Weekend, or scholarship your minister now.
